i understand naming a square, kinda. there's no way to look up that particular square as of yet. but that would be a handy function, if someone were to name certain bases so that they could find them better, eg: nukebase001, shipyard alpha, etc

i was wondering what the feasibility would be for naming whole sections of a landmass that you already control. for instance, if i control an island of 15 squares, and want the hover-text to say "Alcatraz Island", i currently have to name each individual square. if i could click 'Name' and then click each space in a certain area, then submit, and each square would bear the name i entered, i think that would be handy.

also, if there were a search function enabled, people could search for not only bases (nukebase001, shipyard alpha, etc), but could look for a region that has been named so that they could find specific units or just the geographical area.

interesting? lame?

Interesting, but three weeks old. A little moldy. I don't think you were trolling here when I made the suggestion though, so you are hereby forgiven.
