I may be missing something obvious here- but is there a way to have private, diplomatic negotiations, or do they have to be here in the public view?
Hanibel I'd like to negotiate...

Hanibel I'd like to negotiate...
Railhound - NO
Normally as soon as the Horde started to attacked me I would have tried to Treaty with you. But as been pointed out in other posts the game mechanics this time around are different.
So I have been experimenting with ool strategies (which are not working as well) and developing new ones for the next map.
Oh well... I tried. You may over-run me... but you will know you did it!!
RAILHOUNDS FIGHT!!!!!
umm... once I do get over-run am I out for the count, or can I try again at a different location?
Oh this would be a good thing for the spy to intercept, like it could intercept diplomatic communications.
Also to the Hoard I didn’t realize you were so close when I sent the treaty, sorry if I hit you in my drive byes with my battleship.
My intel makes me believe all other capitals are actually captured, but honestly I can’t see all, lol.
FROM THE "PREVIEW / JOIN" TAB IT APPEARS SOME ARE AVAILABLE... BUT... COULD BE MISTAKEN
The Horde is everywhere! 😀
Shall we call it a golden parachute? Probably better than golden shower... anyway...
If this was private messaging I’d have a lot to say lol. Apparently a peace treaty means we can walk through each others land. Do you want to see if he can board my transport ship?

OMG! I didn't even notice that, I thought you killed it with an airstrike on the land or with a missle or something. I
Wow... didn't realize that was allowed by treaty. Wonder if a bug or intended?
It would not allow me to board your transport, I tried!
Awe I had envisioned a great sea adventure, with sea shanties and all, but it makes sense. I was trying to figure out if it’s a bug or a feature, but I also instantly thought of ways to abuse it, like dropping an army behind treaty lines.
I'm not sure but appears it only let's me move one sector per cycle in your territory, will try to confirm after this cycle.
It does raise some concerns about abuse... there should be an option or different treaty levels to enable or disable? Perhaps an ability to "evict" units in your territory?
It shouldn't be an option to move onto another player's sector, no! That was a bug related to disembarking a transport. It's been resolved.
Regarding comms, notes are back in Accounts. I added the player's gamertag on the diplomacy panel. I'll add some functionality to click to send a note from there soon, too.
So there are two instances of this, both were paratroopers on unowned sectors and they moved into claimed territory, the first was probably we both planned on taking the sector and the second just walked in. Hope this helps, I can mark them with bugs if you like.
WELL HANIBEL... GG... BUT MAY THE HORDE TAKE YOU! LOL
That was a good game.
It took way longer than I expected.
The rebels do add an interesting element to the end game.
I may be able to hold off the horde for a bit but it just a matter of time.
On to Bravo map.
Railhound still see some rebels!
Hanibel let's do this!
Oh, I'm giving it my best... but I do not think my brave troops will live to see the dawn...
Just a note to anyone who finds my historicals documents after the great battle.
Rebels suck.
I am fighting for my life over here and these damn rebels keep popping up in every sector. I don't have time for no rebellion. I did done take the capitol. They should submit to their new ruler and go away.
Please can you make them go away.
My loyal citizens will continue to fight for their homeland! GLORY TO THE HEROS!!!!
treaty received! lol
this is... interesting... I'm still in the fight!
WAIT, WHAT??! I THOUGHT WE HAD A TREATY?!
Railhound Guess it expired? If it's any consolation, Hanibel is next. :)
well shucks... give 'em heck!
Johnny, looks like there's still come crossing over of territory. Treaty is in place & looks like we were both going for unclaimed territory, but either the cycle awarded territory to the Horde that my units had passed through, or it allowed my units to pass into territory already claimed by the Horde.

Lytol I sent a bug report in game regarding this today too. :)
Looks like I was able to pull my units back out of your territory, but now the bug has 3 of your units in my territory.
Pulling them back this cycle but given the nature may be other instances later. Hopefully Johnny can fix soon. :)
