I doubt anyone can say the outcome of this map was a surprise. I don't understand why there wasn't more competition for the central area. That would've made for a much better game, I'll wager.

Actually I thought everyone was going to start in the middle so I started on the frigate because that is the name of my girlfriend's parent's restaurant, but before first turn was over I noticed no one went mid so I was like hmm I'll go there, however now you can only resign after a week.
