So I'm just curious...

Do you guys all set your world view to 99x99? Really I'm wondering who would want to view it with any less.

I have mine set as a quick measuring device. the width and height are a multiple of the max movement of a jeep.

Set this up before we could measure things on the map. Now I am just used to it.

Really? You don't like using the Ruler (shortcut key function)?

I have mine set at the default. It takes longer (for me) to load a large screen. This way I can quickly observe different areas on the map.

Mine's a bit bigger than the default, for the same reason stated. It takes way too long to load a large map view. My PC is lame.

What does it matter, sure it loads faster, but if you have a big area of influence, then you have to keep changing the map, thus resulting in the same amount of time, if not more.[/nod]

It's more of the lag that occurs when scrolling within the dimension view and the amount of memory consumed at once. A smaller dimension view reduces the lag and delay in scrolling and doing everything.
