On the larger maps when Waldo has many airbases, it is possible to lose track of his air units. The mid-size and larger are really bad losing units. Waldo might have a report of 300 jets but which airbase are they at? They are too far from the enemy to find them by attacking. I hear waldo has an air force but like his shoe, shirt, pants, and glasses they are missing.

Please help find his air force.
Thank you,
IC

A good idea, but I'm going to play devil's advocate here. Why don't you just put pins next to the bases you have jets in?

Stop being so logical. I usually can keep track of such things but lost track of about 300 jets on e-map due to them being in odd places.

Also, if you pick an area where you think you may have jets, target a sector for an air attack and you will find all jets in range.

Sure, but selecting arbitrary targets just to find your jets is a "work-around"

Perhaps, but consider that there have been innumerable books and movies about military assets that disappeared or "never existed". :-p Show me a government that hasn't lost something, and I'll show you one that doesn't exist.
