Is it possible to allow clone air transfers. When you are trying to move a large number of aircraft it is a real pain to have to do the move multiple time.

I agree to this one. It takes quite a while to move a lot at once.

Do you mean you'd like to move the same number of jets from one air base to many others? (For example, air base 1 has 99 jets and you'd like to transfer 33 to three other bases, so you'd transfer 33 to one and then clone it to the others.)

I always imagined it would be use to transfer all of the jets in one base to a base that's closer, rather than a few here and there.

That's a noob mistake. Concentrating your air units in specific bases will leave you vulnerable to base-destroying missile attacks. I'll far prefer three air bases with 33 each several sectors apart than one air base with 99 in it.

The problem is that you can only move 9 jets at a time. If you wanted to move 33 jets you have to do 4 transfers.

And the move is more related to keeping your jets in range of your forward units.

Ahh that is a good point.

That did not occur to me! Definitely something I'll need to add.

Ok, "show-my-ignorance time:" How do you transfer the planes? I toyed with "attacking" one of my bases with a jet from one of my other ones to transfer, but was afraid it might actually work...

You've got it! If you hover over the plane icon on one of your own airbases, you'll notice that it's labeled "air transfer." It works like an attack, except your jets move to the base instead.

Also, just to clarify, an attack set on one of your own sectors would never actually be processed. For example, if you set a land attack on an area and then an air attack, then air attack won't go through if the land attack takes the sector.

Same thing applies to attacks set on a another country you're treatied with.
