Unit Feature Request: Difference between an ally, "treatier," neutral, and enemy?

In world Einio, One of my allies, Lydia, is shaded blue. An enemy of ours is also shaded blue. While the two shades of blue has a slight difference, it becomes very difficult for me to tell the two apart. I tried to find the request concerning the color-blind because while I'm not color-blind I do have difficulty with blues and greens. I find myself constantly clicking on an unit to confirm whichever or not it was my ally's unit or the enemy's.
I can see borders no problem once I confirm which side is the enemy. But once I go to world map then to another zoomed area, I have to recheck each time.

So my idea is, on the zoomed map, all allied units would be either colored a very light green, treatied... yellow?, neutral brown?, and an enemy would be red. Now I'm not saying totally in that color but a very light see-through on top of the solid black. Or something to that extent. Even an letter or some icon representing an ally/treatier/enemy would be great.

As one of the blues mentioned on Einio, I also check to see if it is my unit or not. Especially at sea.
Great suggestion.
