Since on Gallimi size isn't exactly important, maybe the "Top 20" on the home page could be something else.

Total Country Value
Most Money in the Bank
Least Money in the Bank
Number of Capitols Held(not really important until later in the game)
Etc.

I like this idea. Size isn't important at all so it should be money-related.

It takes the mystery out of the map. Leave it the way it is.
