Simple question. (Not in a position on any world to test or I would have). Are the world flat or round. Meaning if I'm Sarah Palin on a map of the the world and the paper is cut between me and Russia. Can I still get a boat to Russia from my house? ( All joking aside would be a nice to know if its possible.)

I believe they are flat, as you cannot move the map to the right if you are on the extreme eastern edge of the world.

That's correct. The worlds are currently flat.

I've thought about changing it, though, especially since the spawn point addition makes it less of an issue.

A round world would definately be something to include in your "final version".

I was just curious because if your spawn is near one edge it makes a huge difference in strategy if you have to worry about someone clear on the other side of the world that just magically shows up on your door step one day. Most likely not to sell cookies.

After giving this some more thought, I think a round world would have to be a version 2.0 addition. The entire game is structured as a flat image, including functions like air attacks. It just wouldn't be doable at this point.
